Im in the dark at the moment. Typing this up. Ive shared this story before, by mouth to some people.

But i figured i want to share it with whoever does read my blog.

Thank you for those who do bother to even load my page up. Hoho.

Yea so anyways.. it was quite awhile ago, this incident.

But i will forever remember this.

0-- So here it goes:

It was around end of yr 10. me and ger ger ger greg were deployed at cinelesuire for our work experience/ barista course.

So yea we worked for a week in the bloody shit hole TENT sweating our asses just from standing and waiting. ITS A TENT WITH FANS. bloody hell.

(lol this part is ironic to the next)

Okay after work, we went to watch a movie. but that wasnt the important part.

we decide to go for dinner before we headed home. So greg being greg, decides we eat at macdonalds.

We both ordered value meals etc. but what really hit me was that our own seperate meals we had that night,

had also been the same meal for a family of 8.

Yep. A double cheeseburger meal was meant to feed a family of 8.

wife and husband,an aunty, 5 kids.

- It was harsh. Seeing them share the chips around, the father eating the bread bun, while he let his son have the meat patty.

I nearly teared.

And i think i am now.

Ever since this incident. I really have realised how much things i've taken for granted and how lucky i really am.

Just the thought of a TWO DOLLAR double cheeseburger, being shared by 8 different people just gutted me.

I had, that night, in my hands, a meal i didnt even enjoy. and next to me, was..

Well i hope i have made my point.

To be honest: Im glad i had encountered such a thing.

Rather than to be stuck in my little hole and not having seen any of the real world.

I guess this life is tough.

And btw, if im not mistaken.. me and greg ate in silence for the rest of the time.
